Please read every night with your student, this improves reading fluency and reading comprehension. For two weeks, your student will have a fluency sheet. This DOES NOT have to be read all at one time. This can be found in the ELA pouch of your students binder.

Spelling and vocabulary words can be found in your students binder. We also use a composition book daily. The composition book is located in the back of your students binder. Please make sure this book is placed back in the binder nightly. We use this every day. Thank you!

Mrs. Wilder’s Bio

I am married to Matt Wilder, and we have three wonderful kids named Matthew, Hunter, and Kayle. I have two amazing daughters-in-law Brooke and Katie, and I have one adorable grandchild named Paislee. During my spare time, I love attending the Nashville Predators games, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and my two Boston Terriers (Thor and Buzz). This is my sixth year teaching at North Lake, but I have been a teacher for 12 years total. I did my student teaching here at North Lake 13 years ago and it was the best experience, so I am very proud to be a part of the North Lake family.
